Skownan First Nation Man Imprisoned for Manslaughter

A Skownan First Nation man, who admitted to Manslaughter, has been sentenced to prison time.

In June of 2020, Winnipegosis RCMP were called to a report of an injured male at a home on the reserve.

A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital, but he died from his injuries.

In Dauphin Court yesterday (Mon), 24-year-old Jayden Catcheway was sentenced to eight years in prison, less time already served in custody.
