Yorkton Receiving Provincial Dollars For Participating in Discounted Buss Pass Program

Saskatchewan residents who receive income assistance can continue purchasing their bus passes at a reduced rate.

The Discounted Bus Pass program has reduced their rates for a monthly bus pass by 25-dollars.

To help cover the discount for each eligible pass sold, seven Saskatchewan cities who participate in the DBP program will receive up to 1.84-million dollars from the provincial government.

The city of Yorkton will get up to 18-thousand dollars in funding.
