Saskatchewan Government Suspends Non-Urgent Eviction Hearings

A suspension of eviction hearings will take place in Saskatchewan.
The effect will take place immediately and will be reviewed on a month to month basis.
Justice Minister Don Morgan cautions that while tenants won’t be evicted for missed or late rent, eviction hearings will still take place for situations that have a potential risk to health and safety.
These hearings will take place by telephone.
