A Man Charged With Kidnapping His Daughter Was Back In Court

A new court date has been set for a man charged with the alleged abduction of his seven-year-old daughter. In Regina Provincial Court yesterday, 52-year-old Michael Jackson of the Carievale district, was denied bail, and his next appearance was set for April 12th. Saskatchewan RCMP issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Jackson on January 21st, after he was charged with Abduction in Contravention of Custody or Parenting Order.  Police located him and his daughter in Vernon B.C., on February 24th.
