A Man Charged With Using Funny Money Was Back In Court

A Regina man charged with passing counterfeit $100 bills at a Queen City business was back in court there yesterday. 37-year-old Pierre Laferte was remanded to next Tuesday. Last May, Regina Police got a report from a business, where someone used or attempted to use fake one-hundred-dollar bills for purchases, on April 17th and May 3rd. In December, the charges against his co-accused, 32-year-old Tyson Knutson of Grenfell, were withdrawn.
