Sask. Updates The Run-off Report

Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency has provided an update to its spring runoff report. There’s been higher than expected runoff, which is helping to refill many of the reservoirs that were very low following last summer’s extended period of high heat and very little precipitation. Spokesman Sean Osmar says the Qu’Appelle River system is seeing some ice in the channel, creating higher than expected water levels, and he notes there was some localized flooding around Craven, just north of Regina.
