A couple from St. Malo, Manitoba have completed their long journey across Saskatchewan via snowmobile.
The trip was 11-hundred kilometres long.
Nicole Rolfes, who rode with her husband Wally, says it was the 1st annual Believe Sled Ride to End MS, which started February 21st in Goodsoil, and wrapped up today (Tues) in Yorkton.
The purpose of the event was to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, with the money raised going to the MS Society of Canada.
She says the goal is to raise 15 thousand dollars, and donations can be made at www.believeride.ca.
For Nicole this hits close to home, as she was diagnosed with MS in 2012, and her passion for snowmobiling inspired her to tackle this province-wide trip.
Rolfes was happy with the results, and believes she can conquer the disease.
