Evan Montgomery and I have teamed up to bring you an Easter blog today.
An Easter Poem for Danny Ismond
by Evan Montgomery
Danny, Danny, Easter is here!
Come on, wake up, get your butt in gear!
The rabbit is sneaky, the rabbit is smart,
maybe he hid your eggs three blocks away in that park?
Hustle, hustle, gotta search fast
chocolate abandoned in a park certainly won’t last!
Forget the kids, forget the wife
Get those eggs for the betterment of your life!
Where on earth could that candy be?
Maybe at home being eaten by your family!
Look under the table, don’t bonk your head!
Who’d host the morning show if you wind up dead!?
In the garage, looks like a trail
What’s that hidden under that pail!?
Basket, basket, found at last!
Too bad no candy or chocolate,
only decorative eggs made of quartz glass!
Happy Easter from Tonya and Evan!
