Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for central Saskatchewan.
Strong winds that may cause property damage are either expected or occurring in Saskatoon, Lloydminster, the Battlefords and Kindersley.
As a cold front moves in from northern Alberta, central Saskatchewan can expect wind gusts of 60 kilometres an hour with wind gusts of 90 by this morning.
The winds may do damage to buildings, tearing off roof shingles and breaking windows. Loose objects on the ground may also be tossed by the wind.
The wind should start to weaken by this afternoon.
