An Esterhazy man, charged in connection with a violent break-and-enter in Davin, in March of 2015, is headed to jail.
Yesterday, in Regina Provincial Court, 49-year-old Robert Kocalka was found guilty of Break-and-Enter with Intent, and given ten months in jail, along with 18 months of probation. He also received four months prison time and 18 months of probation, for Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
Two other charges were stayed.
The charges stemmed form an incident on March 5, 2015, in which police were called to a home in Davin, to investigate an altercation, that involved the use of a firearm.
