Some more good news for patients in the Swan Valley.
After five doctors were signed to practice in Swan River last fall, Duane Whyte, the chairman of the group in charge of physician recruitment, says more are on the way.
That being three more physicians signing on to practice in the Swan Valley, with the first, set to arrive in early July.
Whyte notes the former NDP government worked hard for the Swan Valley, and he hopes that relationship will continue and grow, with incoming Tory MLA Rick Wowchuk and the new P.C. government.
He also says there’s one major goal, shared by the community, Prairie Mountain health and the provincial government, is to re-establish obstetrical services in Swan River.
