The Yorkton Film Festival and RBC have teamed up to start a 3-year mentorship program.
It’s designed for ambitious filmmakers to connect with established pros within the industry to help foster their creative development. Those who apply have the opportunity to work with their mentor on any aspect of their choosing.
Spokesman for the Yorkton Film Festival Scott Stelmaschuk says they couldn’t have done it without the Yorkton RBC Branch, adding the idea of something like the program was always there, but just needed an opportunity to pull the trigger.
The Mentorship Program will start later this year and for the next two years.
