Emergency and acute inpatient services at the hospital in Preeceville and an exchange of dialogue about 2 physicians coming in October.
That’s what was discussed between a group representing the Preeceville area and the Sunrise Regional Health Authority, during a meeting in Yorkton last week.
Both sides acknowledged that a go-forward plan has to help keep doctors in Preeceville and offer dependable services for surrounding areas. In addition a community action committee has been formed to support physician recruitment and retention.
Also discussed was the Sunrise Health Region planning on improving public knowledge about HIV in the coming months.
