A 30-year-old Alberta man is in custody, and faces 7 charges for allegedly assaulting a person, uttering threats, and possessing a prohibited firearm.
On Monday at a work site southeast of Indian Head, RCMP learned a man possibly had access to firearms and threatened to harm others. The perimeter was contained by Mounties as a result.
The next day the suspect left the camper he was in and tried to take off but was stopped and was arrested without incident. A search into the camper revealed multiple firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammo, and prohibited high capacity magazines.
Brendon Wagner is facing 3 counts of possessing a prohibited firearm, another 3 for possessing a firearm obtained by crime, and 1 count of assault, when he appears in Fort Qu’Appelle Court tomorrow (Thurs).
