A Grayson man found himself in Yorkton Provincial court this morning (Wed), facing an uttering threats charge for allegedly making threats against the Prime Minister.
41-year-old Christopher Hayes had his matters adjourned until next Monday in Melville court.
Hayes was arrested yesterday (Tue) at his residence in Grayson after Mounties investigated the alleged threats made March 30th on social media; a similar complaint was made July 13th. Several electronic items were seized from the suspect’s home.
RCMP say there was no direct contact between the accused and Prime Minister Trudeau.
