Two men arrested in connection with a home invasion in Yorkton have been sentenced to jail time.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Fri) morning, Austin Pelletier pleaded guilty to one count of break and enter, and was sentenced to 1 year in jail, followed by 1 year of probation.
Yesterday (Thu), Darwin Whitehawk pleaded guilty to similar charges, and was given 18-months in jail and 1 year of probation.
The matters for the third suspect, Nathan Ortynsky, will return to court on September 13th.
Pelletier and Whitehawk both admitted to breaking into a home in Yorkton during the early morning hours of June 4th, in an effort to steal drugs.
