A well-known Saskatchewan rancher has passed away. Boyd Anderson of the Fir Mountain-area died in Moose Jaw this weekend at the age of 96. He served as the president of Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities from 1977 to 1982. He also served as president of the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association and the Canadian Catlleman’s Association. Anderson is a member of the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame, and he received the Saskatchewan Order of Merit in 1997.
