The RM of Sherwood is in good hands, according to the former Chief Administrative Officer for the Rural Municipality.
Ron McCullough joined the RM in the summer of 2014, when it was the subject of corruption allegations; the provincial inquiry found that RM Reeve Kevin Eberle and his wife were projected to make 57 million dollars from a proposed 736-acre development.
Deputy Reeve Tim Probe meanwhile, was charged with municipal corruption two months ago.
McCullough says the RM has an opportunity to grow and has gone from poor governance to good governance. He resigned from the C-A-O position Thursday, and says now that it’s all set and done, he plans on staying in Regina and return to the consulting business.
A search for a candidate to take over the role for the long-term is underway.
