A surprising number of Canadians don’t feel comfortable in their own skin.
According to a recent poll, 36 per cent of women in the country feel good about being Canadian, while 28 per cent of men felt the same. When it comes to health-care, about 20 per cent of participants labeled it as an embarrassing subject.
In terms of excessive political correctness, 23 per cent of those surveyed said it’s the most embarrassing issue. Other stats include 33 per cent of participants said the low-valued dollar is embarrassing, and 27 per cent about the nation’s history with First Nations.
