The second suspect charged in connection with a violent home invasion in Yorkton in 2015, has pleaded not guilty.
19-year-old Jesse McDowell of Yorkton was in Provincial Court this (Mon) morning, where he had his matters adjourned for trial on June 27th.
His co-accused, 24-year-old Nathan Ortynsky, admitted his guilt last week, and was sentenced to over 10 years in prison.
In October of 2015, two males wearing masks and brandishing weapons, entered the home of Keith and Bridgette Washenfelder of Yorkton.
The elderly residents were tied up, beaten, and robbed.
