Thousands of Canadians attended vigils in cities across the country including Regina, one night after 6 men were killed and 19 others were wounded while attending evening prayers at a Quebec City mosque. In Quebec City, people gathered down the street from the mosque that was attacked, and then marched with candles in solidarity with the Muslim community. Meantime, 27 year old Alexandre Bissonnette made a court appearance in connection with the massacre. He’s charged with six counts of first-degree murder and five of attempted murder. He returns to court February 21st.
