An Esterhazy man arrested almost 18 months ago on drug and weapons charges, has admitted his guilt.
22-year-old Sarwar Habib was in Yorkton Court of Queen’s Bench this (Wed) morning, where he pleaded guilty to Possession of Cocaine and Crystal Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Hydromorphone and Marijuana, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Possession of a Weapon While Prohibited.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in October.
Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Esterhazy in October of 2015.
They seized nearly five pounds of cocaine, one pound of crack cocaine, several ounces of crystal meth, a large amount of Canadian currency, and two firearms.
