A donation to the Health Foundation in amount of 2 thousand dollars has been made by a group of cancer survivors.
The group from the St. Gerard’s Catholic Women’s League is made up of survivors who now receive lymphedema treatments in Yorkton.
The donation will cover the cost of two lymphedema jackets, used to manually move fluid in patients arms during treatment.
This brings the total number of jackets to 4, allowing more treatment times available for patients.
The donation comes from funds raised at the St. Gerard’s CWL Annual Gigantic Garage Sale.
