An 18-year-old man who admitted to Manslaughter in the death of another man in Punnichy, has been sentenced.
The body of 43-year-old Clayton Cyr was found in a shed in June of 2015.
Court heard that a youth had pushed Cyr off an outside deck, then repeatedly kicked and punched him.
The man, who can’t be named because he was 16 at the time of the offence, has been in custody since his arrest a few days after the incident.
In Regina Court of Queen’s Bench yesterday (Wed), he received one year secure custody, six months open custody, and 1 year of community supervision.
