An Alberta man has been sentenced to prison time for a 20-month crime spree across all 4 western provinces.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Fri) afternoon, 52-year-old Joseph Palmer pleaded guilty to 113 charges, including a number of Break and Enters, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
After he was given credit for 440 days of time served on remand, he was sentenced to an additional 34 months in a federal penitentiary.
Court heard that from January of 2015 to August of 2016, Palmer broke into golf course sheds and clubhouses, seasonal campers, and park offices, and was responsible for at least a half a million dollars worth of damage and thefts.
He was finally arrested on August 28th, following a break and enter to the Pipestone Golf Course near Moosomin.
