A man who admitted to making inappropriate comments to a woman at Yorkton’s Parkland College, has been sentenced.
26-year-old Stephan Protz was in Yorkton Provincial Court this (Thu) morning, where he received 90 days in jail, after he was given credit for the time he has spent on remand, and that’s to be followed by 18 months of probation.
However, due to mental health concerns, it was recommended he serve his time at the psychiatric hospital in North Battleford.
In April, Protz pleaded guilty to Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm and Possession of Marijuana.
It stems from an incident at the college on March 6th, where he told a female student that he was a rapist, and he wanted to molest her.
