Melville RCMP have released more information on Saturday afternoon’s single vehicle rollover.
They say it involved a pick-up truck that had only one occupant inside — a 27-year-old man from the Lemberg, Saskatchewan area who was the driver. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing between the Melville detachment, RCMP Collision Re-constructionist, and the Provincial Coroners Office.
A call regarding a serious rollover was made at approximately 3:00 p.m. and Mounties got to the scene located on Highway 47, about 2 kilometres south of Melville.
The highway was closed to traffic for about 3-and-a-half hours before it fully re-opened later that evening.
