After spending five years in captivity, Canadian Joshua Boyle, his wife, American Caitlan Coleman, and their children have arrived in Canada. They were abducted by Taliban-linked militants in 2012 while volunteering in Afghanistan. Speaking to reporters, Boyle says one of his young daughters was killed and his wife raped during their captivity. 3 surviving children were all born in captivity. Boyle is also demanding that the Afghanistan government bring his kidnappers to justice.
