You may have seen this if you were anywhere near the old brick flour mill Friday.
The Yorkton Fire Department has 2 units on the scene, and there was steam seen from the building, leading to fears of a fire at the old structure.
Restoration committee spokesman Larry Pearen says an industrial cleaning company was steam cleaning graffiti and paint from the building.
As for the fire trucks, Pearen says they were using the building for ladder aerial training, and crews were putting up Christmas lights.
He’s hoping those light’s will be up in time for the upcoming Santa Parade.
