A Rockford woman arrested following a shooting incident last December, has been sentenced on 2 charges.
54-year-old Sheila Barber admitted to Careless Use of a Firearm and Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, in Yorkton Provincial Court two weeks ago.
Today (Fri), she was given an 8-month conditional sentence, to be followed by 4 months of probation.
Kelvington R-C-M-P were called to the scene just after 1:30 in the morning on December 14th, and a man was taken to a Saskatoon hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Court was told the shooting was accidental.
