The Yorkton Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is hitting the home stretch.
With the last day of the campaign being tomorrow (Sat), Lieutenant Samuel Tim says $88-thousand 114 dollars has been raised.
The kettles are at 5 different locations in Yorkton — the Liquor Store, Superstore, Walmart, Save on Foods and the Parkland Mall.
Toys and food can also be donated to the Salvation Army at their thriftstore location on Betts Avenue.
The latest figure is halfway to their fundraising goal of $135-thousand dollars, which supports the Salvation Army’s work throughout the coming year.
