SaskEnergy will now start their investigation into a pipeline rupture, after natural gas service to Melfort-area customers was restored yesterday (Thurs).
The probe is expect to last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
In the meantime, technicians will continue running safety check for customers in the area who had their furnaces automatically restart, or whose natural gas service was not disrupted.
The loss of service on Wednesday morning (10th) resulted in 45-hundred affected customers in the St. Brieux, Kinistino and Melfort areas.
