The second of two Dauphin residents who admitted to an armed robbery in that city last year, has been sentenced.
In Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), 35-year-old Sheena Therien received 13 months in jail for Robbery With a Weapon, and Breach of Probation.
However, due to the time in custody she’s already served, she only has to spend another 59 days behind bars, to be followed by two years of probation.
On January 15th, 2017, a convenience store on Main Street in Dauphin was robbed by Therien, who took an undisclosed amount of money, lottery tickets, and cigarettes.
She then fled in a car driven by 59-year-old Lawrence Abigosis, who pleaded guilty last July to Accessory After the Fact, and was sentenced to the time he has already served in custody since his arrest.
