A B-C man has been sentenced to prison time and a 2-year driving prohibition, for an incident near Yorkton. In Provincial Court, 29-year-old Travis Bara was given two years behind bars, but with credit for time served, he will only spend another 63 days in custody. In November of 2016, Yorkton City RCMP responded to a call of a drunk driver, and the suspect vehicle, which had been stolen from B-C, was spotted on Highway 16. When the officer tried to arrest Bara, he resisted, and injured the thumb of the Mountie. Bara pleaded guilty to 13 charges in all.
