Grain Millers Yorkton has made a significant contribution to the Health Foundation’s surgical microscope fundraising campaign.
Grain Millers General Manager Terry Tyson tells us why they donated 5-thosuand dollars.
“God forbid something should happen. We’ve been lucky and we focus on safety. But you’ve always got a risk in an industrial setting of somebody getting hurt, so we want our extended family if you will to have access to the finest care.” said Tyson.
The new microsocpe used for cataract surgery cost about 212-thousand dollars, and is scheduled to arrive in Yorkton next week.
