Testimony continued yesterday in a Battlefords courtroom in the 2nd degree murder trial of Gerald Stanley. He’s charged with 2nd degree murder in the August 2016 shooting death of Red Pheasant First Nation man Coulten Boushie. The 22-year-old was killed after the S-U-V in which he was a passenger drove onto private farm land near Biggar, sparking an altercation and gunfire. Yesterday, court heard from Stanley’s son, and a friend of Boushie. Testimony today will include 2 women who were in the SUV.
