Stock markets around the world are taking another beating today following yesterday’s dramatic sell-off on Wall Street. The selling, which gathered pace yesterday when the Dow Jones posted its biggest percentage decline since August 2011. The Dow plunged 11-hundred-and-75 points, dragging other markets down as well. Toronto’s T-S-X index fell 271 points, and our dollar was also hit, losing 3/4ths of a cent against the U.S greenback. Asian markets were also down in trade this morning.
