“That could include surveillance from unmarked vehicles, officers on the sidewalks, buses, and other tactics that they’re not telling us about. So we’re advising all drivers to you know, put down the phone and avoid other distractions and just drive.” stated McMurchy.
Fines start at 280 dollars.
In January, 500 people were ticketed for distracted driving.
