Ron and Shirley Carson from Lampman have provided a huge one-million-dollar donation to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Ron was the founder of Carson Energy Services and grew the company from eight employees in 1974 to a business leader in the province, with over 900 employees and 17 locations across Saskatchewan.
He says the donation is his way of giving back to a province that provided him with so much.
“It’s just a small way of us being able to give back and I don’t think I could find a better place to do it then at the Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon.” stated Carson.
The donation will support a family space and kitchen located just outside the pediatric intensive care and observation unit.
