The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has announced an assistance program to raise funds for those within the Humboldt Broncos organization and the other teams directly affected by this tragic bus accident with 15 people killed. SJHL President, Bill Chow, says it will help to provide mental health assistance and counselling for all the players in the league. If there is any extra funds, it will go toward an education program in memory of the lives lost. To get the program started, Federated Cooperatives Limited is matching the donations of the individual Co-op stores, which have already committed $135-thousand. That will be matched by the FCL, and will continue to be matched up to $500-thousand.
