Last night I fired up my barbecue for the first time this spring. I wish I could say that it was an amazing experience but I would be lying. It all started out great with a cold beverage and the burning off of the gunk on the grill but that’s where it ended. It smelled amazing but unfortunately I over cooked the steaks. My timing was off just a bit. Thankfully I have all summer to figure it out again. It’s not that it was terrible but I was looking forward to a perfectly cooked steak and that didn’t happen. I guess I will have to grab another cool one in the days to come and keep practicing.
