Positive news for the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
It has maintained international accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dean Douglas Freeman says the veterinary college works very hard to maintain high quality academic programs, facilities and clinical services.
“Really show the program is a strong one and one of the strongest in North America I think we can argue.” stated Freeman.
There will be a challenge in two years time, when the Alberta government moves its funding to a new veterinary school at the University of Calgary.
