Extremely dry conditions have resulted in the Manitoba R.M.’s of Roblin, Rossburn and Riding Mountain West, issuing burning, which will remain in effect, until further notice.
As well, the public is being asked to not set fires, and to be very careful with anything that could cause sparks, even something as small as a carelessly tossed cigarette butt, that could result in a fire.
The Saskatchewan R.M’s of Orkney and Wallace also have burning bans in place.
Anyone with questions regarding the burning bans in their areas, can contact their local R.M. offices, for further details.
