Saskatchewan’s Premier is standing up for small businesses.
Scott Moe spoke at a Regina Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, and addressed several topics, including the carbon tax.
He said if the federal government’s tax would hurt Saskatchewan’s economy, business community and environmental initiatives outlined in the Made In Saskatchewan plan.
“Saskatchewan should not and will not be subject to this tax simply because the Trudeau Liberals do not like the climate change plan that we have put forward and I am having a great degree of difficulty understanding why they don’t like it.” said Moe.
Moe says it could greatly motivate companies in Saskatchewan to close up shop for more business and corporate friendly environments.
