Trespass laws and land access issues are being discussed by ranchers at the Stock Growers Association convention this week.
President Shane Jahnke says one resolution recommends having hunters and other people obtain written permission before entering private land.
“Well it just gives the producers a little more control over it. Primarily bio security and the risk of noxious weeds coming in on different vehicles that aren’t from the part of the area and we like to take care of it.” said Jahnke.
The meeting is being held in Swift Current.
