The protesters camping out at the Saskatchewan Legislature and provincial government ministers have had their first meeting.
The two parties met at the Treaty Four Governance Centre in Fort Qu’Appelle yesterday morning (Mon).
It’s not known specifically what was discussed at this time, as the province and camp protesters didn’t speak with reporters.
Camp spokeswoman Robyn Pitawanakwat says they will however, be speaking to the media about the details of the meeting this morning (Tues).
Minister of Government Relations Warren Kaeding, Minister of Central Services Ken Cheveldayoff, Minister of Social Services Paul Merriman, Justice Minister Don Morgan and Deputy Premier Gord Wyant were in attendance, along with several members of the protest camp itself.
