Two of the five crew members on a Via Rail train sustained only minor injuries when their locomotive derailed on a washed out portion of the track near Hudson Bay.
Hudson Bay RCMP say nobody died or was seriously hurt.
It occurred in the early morning hours today (Thurs) and a Transportation Safety Board Spokesperson says it was in a remote area that lacked a direct access road.
The train was carrying 18 passengers, including the five crew members.
Everyone has been discharged after being taken to hospital in Hudson Bay to be assessed and treated, if needed.
Temporary accommodations and trauma counselling are being offered to those who were on board.
