A Saskatoon nurse is facing allegations of stealing 18 vials of sufentanil from a patient in 2017.
Sufentanil is a drug used for pain relief and is said to be stronger than fentanyl.
Natasha Janzen is also accused of not doing proper paperwork and not maintaining an appropriate relationship with the patient.
She is set to appear for a disciplinary hearing September 4th in Regina.
If found guilty, Janzen could be fined and ordered to pay some of the costs of the investigation into her alleged professional misconduct, lose her job, have her nursing license suspended, or have restricted workplace duties put on her.
