Former Moose Jaw city councillor Don Mitchell pleaded guilty to an impaired driving charge.
He admitted to driving a vehicle on the 600 block of Manitoba Street East, in Moose Jaw, on July 19th when he entered the shoulder, swerved and collided with a parked semi.
His blood alcohol level was .09
Mitchell had his licence suspended for a year and was fined $1-thousand dollars along with a victim surcharge of $3-hundred.
Mitchell resigned from his council seat at the end of June, due to an illness in the family.
