A Mainstreet Research Poll suggests if the Saskatchewan election were held today, the SaskParty would still be in power.
Among decided and leaning voters, 52 per cent would vote for the SaskParty, compared to 31 per cent NDP, 4 per cent Liberal and 3 per cent Green Party.
But in urban areas it’s a different story as 45 per cent would vote NDP in Saskatoon, compared to 39 per cent for the SaskParty.
In Regina, the Saskatchewan Party has a narrow edge, 44.5 per cent to the NDP’s 43.5 per cent.
The survey was conducted from July 15-17 using automated phone interviews, with 776 Saskatchewan residents, over the age of 18, taking part.
